It provides for God’s House.
It tells God we trust Him.
It creates margin in our lives for God to fill.
It reminds us that we are not our own source of strength.
It gives our money a kingdom purpose.
It gives our jobs eternal significance.
It transforms our money into a seed.
It breaks greed and self reliance within our hearts.
It lets everything else in our lives know that God is first.

Tithing is not an act of generosity, it is an act of obedience.
I am obedient to God because of His radical generosity toward us.
